“Barang barang” (ˈbɑːrɑːŋ/ n.) is Malay/Singlish for “personal belongings” or, more bluntly, “stuff”.

I grew up in Singapore, and have lived in a number of different places, often collecting or jettisoning literal and metaphorical stuff along the way. Northern California is now home, where I live with my partner and two cats.

A self-confessed dabbler with little expertise in anything I’ve picked up, this is where I’ve decided to store my barang barang.
